ELEMEC GBC members have provided complete MEPF designs, supervision (Stages 0 to 6) and EPCs for this mixed-use innovative project. The development comprises two high-end residential towers of 23 and 25 floors, a 5-star hotel of 250 rooms and a 75,000m2 landscaped area. The development was designed with an aggressive sustainability target based on the BREEAM international standards for obtaining an ‘A’ rating EPC and for compliance with the Nearly Zero Energy Building (NZEB) performance criteria whereby at least 25% of the primary energy consumption is generated by solar energy. The development adopts a passive approach that includes high-quality insulating materials and windows, a greywater system, a hybrid high-efficiency HVAC system, a biomass system, a heat recovery from greywater system and fully automated solutions that create a better living environment.
