ELEMEC GBC members have provided complete MEPF designs in collaboration with RED Engineering (Stages 0 to 6) for this unique mixed-use building. The development consists of luxurious offices, high-end apartments, an exclusive sky bar, a revolving restaurant, a ballroom, cafes, an art gallery, a plaza, swimming pools, a spa and five levels of basement parking. The building is designed to the very highest specification, integrating sustainability designs and best international practices. It makes extensive use of high-quality insulating materials and windows and includes a hybrid high-efficiency HVAC system and fully automated solutions that create a better living environment. The project goes beyond the local requirements of the Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) regulations in that it targets the EPC ‘A’ rating and complies with the Nearly Zero Energy Building (NZEB) performance criteria whereby at least 25% of the primary energy consumption is generated by solar energy.
